Shortstays Amsterdam offers fully furnished apartments in the popular Rivierenbuurt, combining the convenience of city living with a quiet and pleasant residential environment. Our apartments are designed to make your stay as easy and comfortable as possible. Everything you need is already there — simply bring your luggage, settle in and feel at home.
The apartments:
- We offer two types of apartments:
- Street-side apartments — approximately 32 m²; comfortable and efficiently laid out, with plenty of natural light and everything you need for a pleasant stay.
- Garden-side apartments — approximately 30 m² + private balcony; a little more compact, but with the added benefit of your own balcony overlooking the quieter garden side of the building.
All apartments are fully furnished and equipped to a high standard; fully equipped — just bring your suitcase
Each apartment includes:
- Comfortable queen-size bed
- Spacious wardrobe
- Sofa
- Dining table and chairs
- Fully equipped kitchen
- Oven/microwave
- Dishwasher
- Gas stove
- Refrigerator
- Nespresso coffee machine
- Kettle
- Plates, cups, glasses and cutlery
- Pots and pans
- Washing /drying machine
- Independent heating - so no boiler and lack of water after 5 minutes. ;-)
- WiFi
Everything is ready for you to work, study and enjoy Amsterdam from day one.
Rental conditions
- Rental period: minimum 6 months
- Students: rental periods of up to 24 months are possible
- Registration: permitted for up to 2 persons
- Income check: not required
- Rent: €2,500 per month
- Utilities: €300 per month, including water, gas, electricity, WiFi and service costs
- Deposit: €1,000
We don't believe that a good tenant can be defined simply by an income multiple or a guarantor. We are primarily looking for respectful, responsible and considerate people who will take good care of their apartment and respect the building and its surroundings. A good attitude and a pleasant personality matter to us.
A great location; the apartments are located in the Rivierenbuurt, one of Amsterdam's attractive residential neighbourhoods.
You'll find:
- Tram stops just 30 metres away
- Amstel Station approximately 3 minutes' walk away
- The Amstel River approximately 40 metres away
- The motorway approximately 3 minutes by car
- Restaurants, cafés, supermarkets and other amenities nearby
- Easy access to the city centre and the rest of Amsterdam
- Despite being so well connected, the neighbourhood has a pleasant residential atmosphere — making it an ideal base for both work and study.
- Parking licence easy to require
Viewing & rental process
- A viewing can be arranged in person or via FaceTime, depending on where you are and what is most convenient.
- After the viewing and you confirmed you're interested, we will send you the draft rental agreement for review.
- Once the agreement has been signed by both parties, the deposit is payable within a few days. The rent and utilities for the first month are payable before or on the first day of the rental period.
For additional convenience, we can arrange:
- Weekly cleaning
- Linen service
- Towel service
- These services are available upon request.
